Axis Miles and more offer

Mileage bargains is good for roundtrips for a duration under 45 days. Currently, round trip J fares are starting from 55k miles+tax EX-BOM/DEL. Trip dates between 15.3.24-30.4.23
Yeah one can keep the card for another year pay the annual fees , do some more spends and then book J at 55k return.
Still 30k on J return is also an awesome value as on only paid 11.8k to earn 45k miles

Yeah, 30k Y roundtrip is also amazing value which is upwards of ₹1.5/mile. Can keep the card after renewal and get a total of 60k points. So that is two Y returns IN-EUR. All for a meagre 23.6k! So best would be to redeem for Y so one can fully utilise the 60k miles(after the first renewal) and close the card.

I don't understand airline codes J class or Y class.
Kindly explain the different airline ECONOMY classes.

I am just looking for the cheapest economy airticket to Europe with open jaw flights like Mumbai to Munich and Budapest to Mumbai, that too in peak season (May, June, Sep, Oct) when you have the best weather in Europe and long daylight hours.

Any airline, any departure/arrival time and any dates in these 4 months will do, with the lowest possible fare and miles required.
Thanks 🙏

J and Y are just fare classes. The former is for business, the latter is economy.
Within economy, the segregation is only based on the seat location(bulkhead, exit row, window, aisle, middle,) and are priced accordingly.

If you want someone to do a point to point search for your requirment , you can opt for a paid consulting with a miles expert , they generally charge around 3-7k per person for finding award space and would even help in your booking

You can connect with them on twitter.

How have you done this calculation?

The renewal fee is 4500+ GST and you get 4000 miles only.

Even if wait till renewal, total miles will be 49000 - not quite enough to buy 2 tickets. As there are no transfer partners, making it difficult to use for 2 people. Only option is to earn the balance 11000 miles by spending 366666. Or If you dont want to wait till renewal, you will need to spend 5L to get 15000 points.

Yes, he incorrectly assumed 15000 miles for 11800 renewal fee.
But can we use 15500 miles plus cash for the second adult return air ticket? Because I have 45500 miles

From what I have studied before applying for this card, there are no known MCC exclusions, because the returns are quite pathetic
