Axis Neo rupay cc

Hi,
I currently own Axis Ace card. I'm constantly asked for the CC upgrade to Neo RuPay. would this Neo RuPay would be an add-on card along with Ace or will they cancel the Ace once I activate the Neo? I asked the Customer support but their response was inconclusive. Kindly help.
