  • AU Zenith: Milestone benefits only ✅
  • AU Zenith+: 1% + Milestone benefits ✅
  • ICICI APay: 1% ✅
  • SC Smart: 2% ✅
  • SC Ultimate: 2% (Govt. transaction)
Note: Mostly other cards from same bank works with varied reward rate and similar rule of exclusion.

Tip: IDFC, IndusInd, BOB provides better rewards using payzapp like prepaid card load (MCC: wallet) which you can use to pay NPS compared to direct payment where you'll get from 0.25% to 0.8% only on these cards.

For NPS payments MCC: 9399 (Govt. Services)

Do check both payment gateways Razorpay and Billdesk (above values are according to Billdesk gateway).

Also, do share missing cards rewards that you tried, will update accordingly.

PG Charges (with GST) on NPS website/app:
  • VISA, Mastercard & AMEX = 0.885% (0.75% + GST)
Note: Above are for TIER 1. TIER 2 disabled credit card payments (based on latest available options).

If in doubt, always try test transaction and confirm with support. Things may chage any time, proceed with caution.

Amazon has 2 UPI IDs, and 4 Vouchers..
  • Amazon Pay UPI ID (is linked to your bank like GPay) - @apl
  • Amazon Pay Wallet UPI ID (is linked to your Amazon Pay Wallet) - @amazonpay
Note: Amazon Wallet doesn't allow to load money through credit card, so technically both are same and consider @amazonpay is like 'UPI Lite', pay without PIN.

Consider this is 'Paytm' where one section, you can load money to wallet and use (but without credit card) and other directly from bank account using UPI.

Now, Amazon providing below vouchers (and through Gyftr) for shopping and paying bills.
  • Amazon Pay Shopping Voucher (ASV) - To purchase any item from Amazon except 'Amazon Pay (APV)' category.
  • Amazon Pay Voucher (APV) - ASV + to pay bills through it or wherever amazonpay accepted.
  • Amazon Fresh Voucher (AGV) - Yet to be launched, to specifically use for Grocery purchases (so soon ASV may not allow here).
  • Amazon Prime Voucher - For prime account.

So, whenever you see @apl, which is UPI handle. And hope you know that you can't use vouchers for that.

Amazonpay term without any more context is vague term. It may mean icici Amazon Pay CC Or Amazon pay wallet.
I pay NPS voluntary contribution of tier 1 on NPS website only using either netbanking Or credit cards as payment method.

NPS changed payment gateway UIs.

Could you tell us which gateway you choosed to pay?

Earlier it was trust (till Oct'12 last transaction), now Govt / TSouth.

Will update the post accordingly, sorry for not getting cashback. Things are changing fast, and when one working a week back not working anymore.

I used billdesk gateway. Maybe someone can try Ace card with Razorpay gateway then.

All,

I understand from friends that Axis Vistara Inifinite is still giving reward points for govt. transactions ( inlcuding NPS) and changes are due only on 3rd Jan 2024.

Is this what any expert here confirm. I tried checking the threads, didnt find any information. Neither I see such an email in my inbox ( may be I deleted it)
