Biz black is the best for tax payments upto 6.6 lakhs.cos 5x rewards capped at spend of 56000 per month.

If ur tax payments are upto 4 lakhs Amex platinum travel works well.
1st year fee 4130 + transaction charges on the tax portal 4400= rs 8530
10000 bonus points on joining
15000 on 190000 milestone
25000 on 400000 milestone

Total 50000 points and 10k taj voucher
If u travel marriot bonvoy conversion is rhe best and gives u minimum of 50 p per point i.e 25000
Minus ur expenses ur gain is around 16500.


I have started paying tax this year thru amex plat travel card .No issue in the september payment.

Unless payment gateway rejection happens rhis should work.

78000 points may seem a lot but it is not even enough for a two night stay in a city centre 3* hotel in Los Angeles

Cant get biz black as of now.Not many options i can see.Figured something is better than nothing😄

Marriot works ok for asian countries i guess. Booked 5 days in Bangkok Hotel Aloft for 55000 points and 3 days in Hotel courtyard patong Phuket for 33000 points and 21000 in cash.

Deduct that cash component and then value the points
You will get less than 33 paisa, this is applicable for all three star ⭐ City centre hotels in the best tourist cities and destinations
