Same dates same hotel lowest price available is 47000.I booked the room for 55000 points.Decent conversion?

Courtyard patong for 3 days lowest rate available is 58000.I am paying 21000 cash and 33000 points.33000 points for 37000 rs worth stay.

None of the cards are free right now even with referrals. However you get MR points back using a referral link that compensate for the first year fees.

MRCC is free second year onwards if you spend 1.50 Lakhs in a year. Other cards like plat travel and Gold are a negotiation between you and CS.

Income tax = Govt. spends MCC

HDFC, AXIS, BOB = 0
IDFC = 3 RP/150. (each RP = 0.25p) not eligible for accelarated rewards
Indus = 0.7 RP / 100. (each RP = 0.30-1Rs.)

Largely , what we should aim for payment of govt taxes using CC is:

1) Attain a small % profit.
2) Attain Fee waiver for that year for that card
3) Attain any milestone benefit(s)..

If the above three are met, then we can say operation suceess and patient is also doing fine..

Byproduct of this exercise is: Better limit enhancement offers in future from the Bank and thereby card upgrade offers as well..!! What else you want??

Amazon pe mera to ni aaya last month. Usse pehle tk aa rha tha. Now I use infinity cc on sbi portal of ITR website. Works seamlessly. No surcharge.

When there is no credit card offer and I want to purchase something, I usually use card with high reward rate. But by doing this I often missed the opportunity to get more reward rate with Quarterly/Annual milestone benefits with other cards.

It's like I use card with 3.3% reward rate compared to 1.2% because I get instant high reward rate but if I waited and when crossed certain spends on that low 1.2%, it can give me 6.2%.

In this post, I try to gather or know about certain cards which provides better reward rate with Quarterly/Annual milestone benefits.

HDFC Tata infinity se kitna milega cashback ? I have used this card for cc payment of advance tax, only advantage is not getting additional charges for using cc. Then paying its bill using hdfc debit card is the only way to get 1% cashback.

Okay so no CB but no surcharge either right. Cool.

BTW this no longer works, SBI shows "Nil" surcharge now but at the gateway it charges around 1.8% surcharge upfront on CC option.
