I feel if we disclose everything accurately when purchasing an insurance policy, the chances of rejection are very low.
Rejections usually occur when there is a mismatch between the medical history provided at the time of purchase and the details disclosed during hospitalization. When a person is admitted to the hospital, they truthfully disclose their complete medical history to the doctors. However, while purchasing an insurance policy, they may not provide the same level of detail. If there is a discrepancy between the information given at the time of buying the policy and what is later disclosed during hospitalization, the insurer may reject the claim.
