IndusInd support is decent, mail to head.cardservices@indusind.com for any complaint.
This email address, which belongs to their Level 2 Support, surely has a shorter response time (Approx 2 days), but their helpfulness is bad.

Read this comment:

Even their last level of escalations for credit cards (headcreditcards@indusind.com) hasn't replied to me since 5th September whereas they were supposed to respond "shortly."

Shitty bank. Shitty tech. Shitty customer service. Everything shitty. I don't want to have any relationship with them in the future.

They helped me with charge back request. I provided them the form and merchant communication and with in 2 days they raised the SR and is currently under investigation. The support executive response was prompt and explained the case to the point.

Earlier when I reached Premium / Priority care, they evaded my email.

These lethargic fools closed the case in favor of the merchant. The merchant accepted the fault and agreed to provide the refund for defective product.

But IndusInd out of nowhere came to the rescue of the wrongdoer with divine Intelligence, such a pathetic bank.

SURPRISED TO READ THIS THREAD.

During the last 1 yr of my association with TF, this is the first time someone is seeking guidance on how to close a CC - if you keep aside the lucrative compensation aspect the OP is open to.

All along, I saw only desparate guidance seekers trying to get new CCs.

Is it an indicator to the changed times ? Or, a true picture of an average CC user's mentality ? It looks like filing a case of divorce with alimony demand.

Firstly ask, based on what, the bank has passed that judgement?

After then,
Appeal the judgment, then provide the proof that merchant has accepted the fault and agreed to refund, then how come IndusLnd passed the judgement in the favour of merchant? 🤡

Ask huge compensation for deficiency in service on part of issuer/bank, mental anguish, and all.

By the way, explain more about merchant convos...

Sir ji, shitpost thha. I wasn't seeking genuine replies. 💀

I'm planning to close my IndusInd Legend credit card as I'm not happy with their service.

Since their email support usually takes 7-8 days to reply, so should I email them for a card closure request and get ₹500/day compensation if they delay replying to my email post 7th working day? 💀
Folks, here's an update to my post.

I raised a closure request via email to their Level 1 customer care on 17th October, which was replied to on 24th October night (after whopping 7 days), and they mentioned that they have taken a cancelation request.

The next day, on 25th October morning (in less than 12 hours), received the following SMS:
"Dear Customer, your IndusInd Bank Credit Card ending 0420 has been cancelled as on 25/10/2024 - IndusInd Bank."

That's it. No calls prior to it or even a confirmation email afterwards with further information.

Moreover, the card is still being reflected in the netbanking, which is weird. However, when I'm trying to change transaction preferences (POS/Online/ATM), it is throwing an error, meaning the card is not operational anymore. Will have to see when they update on CIBIL.

I am planning to close my indusind Legend credit card. Did that trick atleast work or it was their final response.

I am closing it because they gave me a very generous credit limit of 50k. I have 787 cibil score and few other credit cards with over 5L credit limit. I am having this legend credit card close to a year. No LE or no offer are coming up and they recently removed the lounge access as well. When I asked for LE with upgrade they told me to wait for 1 year completion before requesting. No proper response.

Any suggestions on how to close the card slowly? I may stay if they upgrade the card with reasonable LE so any possibilities for that?

No, that trick didn't work, because they closed the card within 24 hours of raising the service request. 😂

No, no suggestions. Try to email to their Level 1 Support team for the closure.
