Every bank have a option.
Some are easy, some are complicated.

For axis just call the customer care. They will encourage to use it, but you have to push them.

Otp & transaction sms are free & mandatory.(rbi rule)

Bank charges sms charges for daily balance alarts, weekly balance alarts & offer message.

If you stop sms alarts, you will still receive Otp & transaction sms. Hope i am clear to you.😊

Is se better ek normal savings account hi open kar lo. BoB ka koi fayda nhi hai unless tumhe FD rakhni ho.

None. I got it closed in less than one year. They didn't charge anything. Infact gave me back 500 rupees that I had in account as cash from the cashier.

In AU bank if you turn off SMS service then you will get only OTP. No debit/credit SMSes for savings account.
