For context, I read a post where a user blocked his canara bank DC in 11th month, but still he got deducted for renewal fees.

Not with experience, but with logic The fees are deducted by checking what's the current version of account!

So in this case u shouldn't be charged. But the issue here is it's no where mentioned either on BOB Website or T&Cs

So quite difficult to get reversal if

Well if they deduct fee fine. I need a rupay select dc so will probably upgrade anyway. The rupay select prime benefit refreshes in January right?

Anytime when u apply. But......

If u are thinking to apply and close in 11th month and then apply again. Won't work

It takes some time. In my case, 10 days from application to delivery. The virtual card should appear within 4 days in the app.

I had also changed my acc from 0 bal to advantage savings acc. and they didn't send a single SMS during the whole process. Randomly exploring bob world mobile app and saw advantage was written in my account type

Do the quarterly benefits of Flipkart and BB vouchers lapse at the end of every quarter or can they be redeemed at once for several quarters?

Seems main USP of this card are these 2 offer

• Shopping: Big Basket or Blinkit, and Flipkart voucher worth INR 250 Once per quarter
• Bookmyshow : Flat INR 250 off on purchase of 2 movie/non-movie tickets Once per quarter

These 2 offer are not even available for BOB rupay select RSDC card too which is supposed to be higher variant than rupay platinum.

Any other Bank Rupay platinum debit card provide such offer? Please share if anyone is aware.

They should've provided spotify instead of gaana
