BOB LITE Debit Card charge

Anyone knowing or having "BOB LITE" account pls confirm 🙏🏻🙏🏻 :
1. ISSUANCE (first time) CHARGES for debit card of BOB LITE account r being deducted or not ?
2. If yes , when deducted , just after opening account or after debit card received at address or when activated and debit card using ATM ?
3. Also If maintained QAB : 3000 , were ISSUANCE CHARGES still deducted ?

Pls consider & tell abt ISSUANCE CHARGES and not Annual Maintainence charges

4. In BOB LITE any variant virtual debit card cannot be generated ?
5. In BOB LITE , can we get any ither debit card with less fees like Rypay Classic ?
6.Does BOB offer UPI pin set without debit card option or not ?
7. How likely that in future it will offer setting UPI PIN via aadhaar ? (As all banks r already offering using Aadhaar)

Yes it's possible .. previously branch used to activate bob world mobile banking app with activation code .
But now when you open any account online or offline .. advantage ,bro or lite .... You need your physical debit card first to activate bob world ( physical debit card is first year free ) . After activating bob world you can generate virtual debit card .
Then you can block your physical debit card before renewal .

But now when you open any account online or offline .. advantage ,bro or lite .... You need your physical debit card first to activate bob world ( physical debit card is first year free ) . After activating bob world you can generate virtual debit card .
Then you can block your physical debit card before renewal .

Btw my internet banking and mobile banking was activated via activation code.

A rather unique experience for me because the staff at the branch set my transaction passwords and pins for me and then asked me to change it later.

At that time they had targets to activate bob world as much as possible.

No so this was recently like 2 weeks ago. When I opened the account. They asked me if I want the IB activated and for that they will have to do it from the branch ( before the delivery of the physical debit)

But , when I opened in July last year they told you need physical debit card.

Conclusion is you can keep virtual debit card without physical debit card.

This happens with every PSU bank. But without DC how will you install mobile app if you uninstall?

But bank doesn't expect you to save VDC. If you were able to close DC let us know. Currently I don't see DC offers on BOB DC so I am not applying.

I guess no you get VDC only if you hold DC. Even I thought the same but customer care said not possible.

Your brain functioning has stopped? DC or VDC has an expiry your brain can't think about that? What will you do after it expiries. You will end up without any card. Don't be a dumb fool understand what is written. VDC is linked to DC. After DC expires VDC is gone it won't auto renew.
