ha, same thing happened for me too I have two sapphire cards from different family members account. I used different card for second booking, while booking itself they said quota already over even though i used different mobile and email id. It was over whatsapp chat and then they called me to verify both card.. asked complete card numbers and then only proceeded with the booking.

I was infact planning to ask my other family members to apply sapphire card i use at least four cab service every qtr. BLR to HYD, so both ways needs four booking, but now this new annoyance im thinking should i go ahead with two more cards or not.

I already hai 4 bob Sapphire in my family. lol will have to get some more phone numbers 🤣

Booked again for next week and this time they asked only first 8 digits, probably due to its first booking in this qtr. I guess someway they identify/map and if they find multiple bookings in a qtr, then they ask for full card details.

If this is now showing in their system then you have to try by changing account variant to some higher variant like Super Savings account.

Yes you can apply sapphire from mobile app but for Select atleast 20K mab or above account is compulsory right now

Visit branch is better option. As the application will be approved by BM.

Can I upgrade my account to super savings account then apply? Or do i have to open a new bob super savings account for applying? I am a bit hesitant in maintaining 10k AQB cuz i have to wait 3 months (quarter) for that.

Yes you can apply sapphire from mobile app but for Select atleast 20K mab or above account is compulsory right now

This sapphire debit card is never identified as bob debit card in any zomato or swiggy offer. It recognizes this card as icici card.

Other than this, it works as expected.

Yes. Zomato and Swiggy never detects BOB Sapphire DC as BOB DC.
Also cleartrip is in this list as well

Are there pre requisites that I can need to fulfill in terms of maintaining certain minimum balance and is there any specific account type I should open in order to get BoB visa sapphire debit card. I suggest you open BOB super savings account (20,000 minimum balance account). That will make you eligible to apply for Sapphire DC straightaway and that will be first year free. Otherwise you can open a normal account, keep 10k for a few weeks and then apply for this card. It will be charged from first year.

I would suggest not to apply for sapphire while account opening. Open super savings account along with rupay platinum. Then after getting the card, go to branch to apply sapphire. Otherwise it gets stuck.

May I know what is the account code for BoB Super Savings account. 3 days back when I have opened the account, a normal savings account got opened (code is SB 101) in which I need to maintain QAB 2000. But am intrested in BoB Super Savings account. So could you please help me with the code
