In SBI any mob no link/change request needs to be approved by customer by sending YES to a mob no (printed in all branches, don't remember)

Then u gets a confirmation message.

Yeah, but u still gets message. Do that to be on safer side.

In SBI there's two components, core banking and internet banking. You can have two different mobile numbers in same account with different purposes.

Core banking - DC OTP will go on x number.

Internet banking - UPI, internet banking OTPs and NEFT messages will drop on y number.

Bob bank me Ek baar branch walon ne last 1 digit wrong daal Diya tha Jo Mera no. Tha wo link ho gya fir maine head office complaint ki udhar se call aaya aur sms send krne ko bola fir no. Mera no. Delink ho gya aur uska shi no. Link ho gya...

sbi wale to kaam Krna nhi chahte customer ka...

Bhai maine indian bank ke md sec ko mail bheja, within 1 day aagya reply but is chutiya bank ke md ko bheja to ab tak nhi aaya.
This bank is similar to uco(both are 💩).

UCO is a absolute shit show. called their pno after branch failed to reverse my money and guess what he said ye paisa reverse nhi hoga even after giving proper reasoning. Also realized their zonal office and headoffice don't have proper knowledge about their own products. thankfully mera kaam rbi bo se ho gya tha.
I was having a vdc in uco now its not showing in app says no vdc issued and when trying to generate one its showing vdc already issued.


@CardCraftsman. sahi hai ib ka md se mail itna fast receive hua apka. @doraemon had to go multiple times to bank and escalate the issue to mdsec but in vain.

luck plays a major role while dealing with Indian PSBs.
