I left Stock market 6 months back after a long fight of about 12 Years. Transactions used to be in crores. I lost my fortune. Its a sad story though.

How come you lost in last 12 years man? Market did good in last 12 years .You did trading or long term investing?

12 years is a long period. You should have some decent earning in long run. So are you an investor or trader?

Wanted to be an Investor.
But my fortune pushed me in trading F&O since 2013.
Have seen many lakhs of profits and loss each day. My hearts used to beat with Stock Market.

Now everything gone. In huge debt burden (loan/cc). survived somehow.
Could not capitalize my investment skill. But I guess the knowledge and experiences will remain with me always.

This is exactly what I think. People who fake income and file taxes till 5L, might receive suddenly bump their income to 12L. Maybe they'll use this to flag those people.

Income tax exemption over the years: From Rs 1 lakh in 2005 to Rs 12 lakh in 2025

The tax exemption threshold has steadily increased, aligning with economic growth and inflation adjustments.

2005: Rs 1 lakh
2012: Rs 2 lakh
2014: Rs 2.5 lakh
2019: Rs 5 lakh
2023: Rs 7 lakh
2025: Rs 12 lakh

it means if someone is earning 13L they will get less than if they were earning 12.75L
