Yes ofc they open the packing, so give them only when you are sure about redeeming. As they are fresh out of packing, they don't check much just put in some machine to check the quality and weight. That's it. No charge they will take. Hardly takes 5 min.

Flipkart usually runs offer on timely basis on Gold coins. They might get updated. But the offer now is an useless offer. For 2% more no need to spend on DC and in this all time high prices.

This is a certified bar! with proof of purchase. In worst case they can melt and re-assess purity!

So many have interpreted it wrong, what I meant was- be it 18k, 22k or any other purity, if you can take loan / sale your jewellery to local jewelers
Then it's a certified bar, obviously they will take it if need be.
