What was written in OTP and payment sms?

OTP sms it mentioned as "CRED"

I tried yesterday with CRED, my OTP mentioned 'Jet Privil' but my transaction sms mentioned CRED. My transaction got refunded as intermiles failed the txn.
But last time I paid via Razorpay and the OTP MSG was 'Jet Privil' and for that txn I got 5EM.

I selected Cred pay and i use the Atlas CC, but in transaction history it shows as 'Cred' , but it suppose to show 'Jet Privilege Pvt Ltd'?
I will wait for edge miles to get updated..

So this trick makes sense only if you have a card that gives you accelerated rewards (like Atlas) for travel spending, right?

I mean for cards like Infinia, DCB, Magnus, etc. this trick won't be any better than directly buying the vouchers from Smartbuy/Grabdeal portals because they already provide close to 5% returns.

Am I missing something?

That's right. Only cards such as Atlas and Citi PM that give accelerated miles or points for airlines transactions work for this trick.
