1. Your credit report is the most important thing
2. Income proof may be dispensed with depending on bank policy/ banking relation / card varient
3. Verification / Location : your location must be serviceable
(in that order)
What I meant by remote location -
Serviceable pincode, but location where agent does not want to visit e.g. - Outskirts of city / court complex etc.
For example-
IDFC does not issue new credit cards without physical verification.
But if your location is inconvenient for agent,but application has good profile. IDFC approves without physical verification too.
Thats why I said verification stage is easier to pass on remote location.
But try it with less income and poor score you will get burned!

Verification question arises only if your location is serviceable, unsupported pincode will lead straightforward rejection!
