Cancelled Axis Flipkart Card today. Who else did the same?

True but that much they are considering 😁
Except for it's 1.5% CB on other/offline spends, this card is not at all worth for annual spend of 3.5 lakhs to get 590 waived off.
If we have other alternatives for offline spends or our offline spends are negligible then this card should be in the bin not in the wallet.
There is nothing fancy about this card

Agreed..
You have already spent and waiting for the CB . It is right for you to wait and take appropriate action at the right time..

When we talk generally, who in the right mind will spend 3.5 lakhs to get waived of Rs 590. When the competition SBI is having only 2 lakhs limit to waive of 1180 which actually provides 10K back as CB assuming all spends are 5% eligible for their SBI CashBack card

Even Axis ACE credit card with Rs 2 lacs fee reversal will serve the purpose better than paid Axis Flipkart card.

I guess they want to close this card and launch some new card. As they must already know people will close this card.
Yes.
The reasons could be
The terms between FK and Axis might have gone awry that is why they reduced CB on myntra and increased annual fee waiver limit

They want to trim their CC portfolio.
That is why they are obliging the cancelation requests without a second thought..

The 3.5 lakh threshold is for the coming anniversary year. So if you renew it now, then the annual fee for next year will be waived if you spend 3.5 lakh. Since you have already spent 3.2 lakh before renewal, I guess you have already achieved the waiver status for one more year.

The guy from CS directly cancelled my card without forward my call to retention team. I didn't get any communication regarding cancelation but card just disappeared from app. Like I said, they just want to cancel as many as possible.
Ab to customer care ko call karne me darr lag raha hai, mujhe statement date change karna hai,
kahi ltf card na close kar de. 😬😬

I have issues with SBI CB card as the cashback received is less than 5% each and every time and their list of MRCC for not giving cashbacks is long. So keeping this card till they are giving flat 5% cashback on FK.

True , they exclusion list for SBI card has grown up recently. But it is still a great value for what it costs and it's annual fee waiver limit , especially for that miscellaneous online spends..
It is still the best CB card out there with relatively no frill cc
