Hi Community,
I had applied a card via credilio through an advisor of Turtlemint (Turtlemint has partnered with Credilio). Then after few days, I got a call from credilio that my card has been rejected.
I did not provide any salary details, no salary slips etc. Just provided an OTP for Credit Bureau inquiry (through Experian) and provided my salary amount and area pincode and preferred card (indusind legend)
Here is the screenshot my advisor sent to me (from turtlemint app) and did not provide any further details.
I understand from error message that Indusind rejected card because I did not have any relationship prior to this with Indus (IMO thats what means no CIF found). But thats not a valid ground for card rejection.
Now when I sent email to credilio they said that card is rejected because you had applied some card to indusind from some other medium and that application is not completed (they gave me an application number XYZ). Credilio told that I shall complete that application otherwise the cards will keep on rejecting. They also asked if I wish to apply for this card again.
Then I called Indusind with that application number XYZ...and they were unable to track any such application. And they were unable to track any application by my name/phone number/PAN/DOB etc...
My share of truth- I am trying to get Indusind Legend card first time, and it is first interaction with Indusind bank. It looks like Credilio never sent my application through otherwise it shall be visible on Indusind part when I call to them/email. Indus confirmed over email that I don't have any application with them.
What action can I take against Credilio. This fintech looks bogus to me, they are just collecting data, nothing else. I have already sent emails to them, all in vain so any other remedy, kindly suggest. I could not find them in RBI complaint list entities else I would have complained to RBI lokpal. Will it be worth to write Experian about this? Any other process?
Thanks
