CC bill payment fails on hdfc billpay using platinum DC

I Have add ICICI apay and Platinum CC to hdfc bill pay portal and both are verified and enabled. Whenever i tray to pay bill using may hdfc easyshop platinum dc, it fails no matter what amount i pay. But it is always successful when i use to pay using account. Every time i get an email saying "Alert! Your ICICI Bank Credit Card bill payment has been declined on BillPay" and error message is "Your ICICI Bank Credit Card bill of Rs. 10.00 for HGABP171EB0136424045 has been declined on BillPay due to 0399 - 0399 - PBE10002-Transaction not permitted to cardholder.".talked to customer care they say everything is fine with debit card. Any help?
 
I have new UI, so should we contact hdfc support to change UI to old? Or should we raise concern that bill payments are not working??
I recall seeing some thread where someone posted a screenshot of the support reply. They acknowledged that there are some issues with Billpay and billers powered by BBPS and are working on it. They did not reference whether it was old or new UI.

But from multiple posts in this forum, it seems the issue is predominantly happening only with new UI and working fine with the Old UI. So you can raise a support ticket regarding the bill payments and also mention that you heard it is working well with the Old netbanking UI.

I doubt if it is really going to make a difference, very small probability that they will move you to the Old UI or even rectify the Billpay issue. Most probably, they are going to send a generic reply to use some other method until they fix the issues.
 
I just paid the ICICI Apay payment of 12k, no issues. Payment was successful through Platinum debit card.
Don’t we need to wait for the biller to be activated? I was trying to make the SBI cc payment and once I give the details, it seems like I can pay right away. Has anything got changed recently? Do we still get cashback if we go ahead and make the payment?
How much time we will have to wait for the Biller to be activated? Also, does the cashback gets credited if we pay through netbanking or it gets credited only if we pay through Platinum debit card?

Use your platinum debit card only for cashback. Once you add any new card biller, from next day you can try paying bills. It works even if biller showing verification pending.
 
Can anyone help? When I try to add my SBI and Kotak cards, it's asking my registered mobile number and last 4 digits of cc; So I went through and added,after 4 days it's also activated.. But when I try to pay cc via hdfc platinum DC it's not at all succeeding; For other cards to add, it's asking full 14 digits;

Why SBI and Kotak cards I am not able to pay? Via netbanking also not working

We have received payment of Rs.1,654.00 via BBPS & the same has been credited to your TATA Credit Card. Your available limit is Rs. xxxx
 
I added SBI BPCL and SBI Tata Star cards, but after 3 days, when I tried to make a payment using the mobile app, it failed. So, I tried using internet banking on my mobile, and it worked fine, with the amount reflecting instantly.

I don't think this is application / website specific issue. The attached screenshot is for my Legend Credit Card, I have made multiple payments to this card using the app, but it failed in November and failing ever since. I too cannot pay for my SBI Cashback card, AU LIT Card, One card etc. But I am able to pay for my Amazon Pay card, Axis ace and Flipkart card etc.

I don't think this is application / website specific issue. Its is an issue with all cards that have moved to Bharat Bill Pay System (BBPS). HDFC has acknowledged the issue and said they are working on it, but never gave a timeline.
The way to know if your card has moved to BBPS is to click on ADD BILLER and try to add your credit card. BBPS icon will appear on the left side if that card has moved to BBPS
