Greetings from HDFC Bank!



We want to inform you about an upcoming change to your Tata Neu Infinity HDFC Bank Credit Card (ending in xxxxxx) regarding NeuCoins earned on UPI transactions.



New Changes Effective from 01-08-2024:

• 1.5 % back as NeuCoins on eligible UPI transactions made using your Tata Neu UPI ID.
• 0.50 % back as NeuCoins on other eligible UPI ID transactions.
• Total NeuCoins earned on eligible UPI transactions capped to 500 NeuCoins per calendar month.

Please Note: NeuCoins earned before 01-08-2024 are secure and will not be affected.

To early to conclude? Nothing has changed really. Still earns good reward on UPI, now via tata neu app

can someone please post their honest review of tata neu app? specially for making UPI payments?
how is user experience, is custom UPI available? do we get widget for UPI scanning? do we get email notification for bank UPI transactions ?

Yes, now only UPI transactions done through Tata Neu app will be eligible for 1.5% neucoins

HDFC and Tata dont want us to douple dip by using paytm(or any other upi app) to get reward there and also neu coins. Its Tata pushing the usage of tata neu app.

They are promoting their platform after making these cards habitual. Fine with their strategy, but capping wise both cards have same maximum capping per month.

their app is too cluttered, also there is no widget to quickly scan and pay (for ios at least). can someone please confirm that we will not get any cashback if we pay using any other app?

Just got this mail from HDFC.

NeuCoin cashback changed from 1.5% to 0.5% for non TATA NEU UPI payments. Only the UPI payments made through TATA NEU app will fetch 1.5% back from August 1st.

Other apps will give you 0.5% on Infinity. Neu app will give 1.5%

You will get 0.5% if you use any other app for payment.

It's not exactly a devaluation though. It's a chindi strategy to increase user base of their Tata Neu app. For me CRED was the go to UPI app as, 1. It was fast, 2. It gave 1-2 rupees cashback for Rupay UPI transactions, so double dip. Maybe upto 100-200 transactions I'll still use CRED and over that will use Tata Neu app.

I just got this mail from HDFC.

Neu Coins cashback changed from 1.5% to 0.5% for non-TATA NEU UPI payments. Only the UPI payments made through the TATA NEU app will fetch 1.5% back from August 1st.

aajkal cred gives 1-2 only on 1/2 txn a day. post that only stupid coins.
