CheQ app now devaluation:

Now 1 CheQ Chip value = ₹0.50

Previously it was 1 CheQ Chip = ₹1

This devaluation applicable to Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Myntra, Zomato.

Remaining vouchers like Amazon Prime, ola, BigBasket etc available at ₹1

I also uploaded latest version cheQ APK file (uninstall old version and install new version) - https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1QE7ynOZBgGmknd3vbvxGp9tlpe9qtWoY

Edited - Some people told latest apk app not open, download old version and you will get popup msg to update the app, update to latest version.

Finally my cheq account got deleted. They asked me to reconfirm the same thing on email 4 times, over 3 days. They are trying all the delay tactics possible. It's illegal to not have a delete account button in app but they dont care

@CardTox
Seems you have to mail them with your closure request

Are you sure that further devaluation on Amazon vouchers will not be done in next 2.5 months? Are you sure even amazon vouchers would be available after 2.5 months?

The thing is that you are paying processing fee on every txn while waiting for coins to be accumulated for redeeming the vouchers on a future date. Seeing the present trend I don't feel it's worth the wait.
I agree. The risk always is there. But given the high threshold and the wait time and some redemption restrictions in one month, I do not foresee any further devaluation. Its essentially the app wanting only sticky customers who can withstand their arbitrary changing policies to be around for them. Any further reduction is going to alienate that miniscule junta (like me) as well. So my guess is this will probably remain as is now for sometime going forward (Caveat: unless they themselves go belly up which then makes this discussion redundant)

Having multiple credit card bill payments options available in the market like Paytm, mobikwik, CRED etc. which offer the exact same service free of cost. I don't find it justifiable to pay for my bill payments upfront (as processing fee) just to get that back as reward on a future date.
