The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

What it means is:
We are taking over CITI business and honor CITI's commitment onlt FOR 1st year only..
afterwards, if you like our 🪓 terms, you can continue otherwise F**K off....

is this honouring CITI's customers commitment.. CITI customers can decide...
After all that's Axis. Only committed for 1st Year. Waste of 10000+ cr Deal by Axis then.

Then they don't need to mention that line.. they could have just said that from next renewal your fees will be per Axis rewards card. By saying that you can continue to enjoy the card with no change and not giving a specific deadline means the old fee condition are still ongoing for renewal.
I know, what 🪓 told yesterday may not be valid today.
what they tell today may not be valid tomorrow... ;)

This I mentioend a long long time ago... about CITI merger .. complete waste of current 🪓 shareholders money..
and utter disgusting disappointment for former CITI holders..
Good luck guys !!

is 3.5L not too much for FK card to waive of 500.??
Yes, all the base cards. They have burnt in Magnus and Reserve times so wanted to milk out now from other cards. But underlining point which they don't understand is they are losing the trust (which is imaginary of course) but they don't understand is Citi Customers NRV is very high and high spending individuals on Citi cards. They shouldn't lose them, but their Policies are that way they are losing them also.

Which means the new fees are applicable for ALL cards migrated. And am sure almost half the customer will have renewals coming up in the next 6 months. Now all the attrition will fall into Axis and not Citi.

My 1st year Olympus fee is charged and I am entitled to receive the Voucher + Miles, let me see how Axis honour it. Next year though Olympus will be devalued massively for sure by Axis 🪓

If my guess is right , they already lost significant part of former CITI holders .. whoever is still left with them , majority of them also go away soon..

It is a very wrong marriage..

The philosophy behind 🪓 and CITI are at the opposite spectrum.. like north pole and south pole..

For 23600 you will get a 10000 Taj voucher worth 5000 and 2500 miles @1:4, worth 10000 so your net expense will be 8600

For the Rewards card, the only mcc that is not in exclusion for ER is Gold and Jewellery and all transactions are included for fee waiver. But with 2ER/125, it's not at all worth it.. Rest everything is the same as with other Axis cards.

If you consider ITC case instead of Taj, ITC gives more value than Taj.

- Last time I stayed in ITC Grand Chola on member rate as I am ITC Club Culiniare member, while checking out I paid using ITC Voucher. Room upgrade was also there. All in all that was sweet deal.

Citi Gold and Citi Pvt clients would've already moved out, they might have chosen HSBC or SCB or some other banks.

But there is 3% GST on any gold purchase, along with making charges, melting charges and jewellers profit margin.
you will definitely lose money in buying and selling gold, (not considering future inflation in price of gold)

That is why there are no takers for the AU credit card offer of 25000 or 4.16% return on 6 lakhs spend on gold and gold jewellery.

Yes, I am entitled to. But let me see if Axis does good job or not. Already utilized guest access to Lounges using this. So as of now going smooth for me.
If they dont honour, you need to follow up with them according to @drsel ..
That is the 🪓 's philosophy.. Let us not fulfill our promise, if cusotmer begs us then we will look into it...
that is how 🪓 works.. it seems ...

Last time during July 2023, after payment of the annual fees I have received both within 15-20 days. Let me see the timeline after the bill generation.
