Closed Axis Priority Account

Finally after more than long 8 years, today I have submitted Axis Priority Account Closure Form to the Bank. What a journey it was!!

This account is pure junk , they say no sms charges but every quarter they deduct in form of consolidated charges . Have to write mail every time to get it reversed .
Apart from this you also get a shitty Rm who will pester you into insurance
Priority CC privilege is free with this account .
You could maintain 15L in FD instead of 2L at mere 3%

My citi a/c got converted to Axis Priority and my old Axis Priority a/c was made non-salary. Now I could just have Rs 1 lac FD and make all accounts 0 balance including family banking. However, we only need one Axis a/c since it is connected to LIC pension until we are able to remove it. Does Axis Priority make sense to hold for 1 lac FD since there aren't really any benefits?

For citi migrated axis priority family banking , family members axis account can be easy access account ( 12k MAB ,which can be opened online ) for family banking ?
Just have to fill the family banking form right ?
And 1lac MAB for main account will make family accounts zero MAB right ?

Yes, but Axis will levy charges every month as a gift to your family members and you will have to fight for reversal. Then they will not reverse GST for which you have to figt again. This is why I closed my Citi Axis account! They might fix the problem in future but is there any real benefit in keeping the priority account? No.
You can also open an FD for 1 lac to maintain the balance requirement.

they are asking to open priority or prestige account for family member with ip .
As per t&c easy access or prime account is sufficient for family banking.
So u opened which acc for family member ?

Only benefit is 1lac mab cumulative across accts and priority benefits for family members .

I Have Axis Priority Family that too 2 Family IDs from past 6 months not even single penny was debited in name of consolidated charges and to my surprise SMS charges also were waived off AFAIK.

Ya I maintain ₹2L in each family so that could be a reason....

Not sure buddy my accounts are from axis and that too from when it was UTI bank before....

Yes, but you will have to get charges for all family members reversed by RM until they fix the issue.
