Because only 2 cards from ICICI is enough for me. I have Amazon Pay which has a good reward rate for my Amazon shopping and always need one LTF card which covers all instant discounts from ICICI. My Amazon pay will be always active. And other core card will be upgraded if something higher is offered by ICICI in LTF basis. And older one will be closed. Like Platinum to Coral Ltf then platinum closed. If I get Coral to Sapphiro/Rubyx LTF then coral closed. It's my personal opinion.I don't have a good idea how ICICI shared limit card works. If any expert has better idea please enlighten me, it will be much appreciated.
@S S V intent was,you can avail instant discount as many times as number of primary cards you have (in a single sale). If it's LTF,it won't be an issue. But yeah it's personal choice.
About limit, you'll get different bills for both cards. But combined limit can not cross the limit offered. E.g. if it's 2l,then you can only use upto 2l,using both the cards.

Thanks for your reply. But for all those cards, how cibil will be reported? If I have 2 L combined limit in 3 ICICI cards, will they report under only one account? Or 2L+2L+2L three different accounts will be opened despite merged limit?

No harm happens to your CIBIL, by keeping all the three cards... if at all there is a chance that it will be a good factor..
If you are really keen about maintaining good CIBIL add a secured loan in the mix.

So, is it good or bad for the credit profile? For a annual income of 9L per annum I have a combined credit limit of 16 Lakh approx(four bank cards). And ICICI Amazon pay is 5L alone, If platinum is reported 5L in separate account (didn't receive any report for platinum till now as it's very new), Total credit limit will be shown 21L and If another ICICI card taken then 21+5 =26L, Will this much of credit exposure be good for my fixed income? Will any bank in future give me a good card with higher limit? May I be considered as I risky customer to default?

In Process to close PNB Rupay Platinum CC
To be closed SBI Simplyclick CC
Contemplating to Close FK Axis CC (hoping to negotiate it for LTF or a good upgrade)

May Close HDFC Business Moneyback CC (if didnt get an upgrade to Millennia)
HDFC Tata Neu Plus CC (If I don't hold a Core Card and hold only a Cobranded CC...then won't get a Core CC again)

Infact it is the other way around, if you can mantain good repayment history they will consider you as a very good credit disciplined customer .. .
Like Rama is a Good boy, @Nirjhardas is a very good credit customer, we can give him more credit and make more money...

It doesn't matter much how much exposure you have, what is the utilisation & timely payments matters the most.
Yes,there are few banks like SCB,they consider this but most of the banks doesn't care about it.
As @S S V said, it's even better.
E.g. if you have 10cards & making payments of all these everything, then it'll reflect 360/360 on time payments irrespective of billed amount, that matters a lot.
& if one has 1 card, then it'll be 36/36,timely payments.
