Closing LTF HDFC Tata Neu Card to get core HDFC Card.

I am closing LTF Tata Neu Plus Card to get HDFC Bank core card. I have some queries....

1. After closing the card, will my neu coins expire or should i use neu coins before closing the card?

2. After raising card closure request, how much time should I wait to apply for core card?

3. Which card may i get LTF on C2C basis? I have ICICI coral with 4.5 Lakh limit & AU Card with 6 Lakh limit. Mostly i do online shopping on Flipkart & Amazon. Which card will be better for me?

1) Neucoins expiry date is in tata neu app. Check there

2) You can apply after 15-20 days. There is no waiting time but just to be safe

3) Try Millennia

Alternatively you can ask hdfc to upgrade to core card - they'll upgrade to core card easily depending on your negotiation skill

1. Neu coins are given by 2 entities. Tata neu gives the 1st part which gets credited few days after delivery. 2nd bank which are credited little later. So if you have done some transactions in recent past & haven't received the neu coins credited by bank. You might lose it. But the neu coins already credited won't be reversed.
2. For ltf card, 90days would be better. There is no fix time period.
3. Don't use icici for c2c at hdfc. Use AU instead. You can get millenia ltf which would anyway be best card for you. You won't get any higher variant card ltf unless you have high nrv.

Try to check in Paytm app you may get option to apply for a core HDFC Card.

By mail I meant email. You can also send application by postmail but its a long process.

I have sent mail to escalation.cc@hdfcbank.com for card upgradation... Got reply that they will revert within a week.. will update here.. whatever reply I get

Update - Today I received call from HDFC Bank. They upgraded my tata neu card to FYF Millennia Credit Card. Executive on call guided me to add the card on My Cards portal & PIN Generation.

i have a query that - My previous tata neu card is also showing in My Cards Portal. After upgrade, Neu Card will be closed or not. Can I continue using both cards?
