Club Vistara Air India Integration Announced

True & not true.
True for premium economy & business redemptions. Not true for the economy.
The only thing to be mindful of going forward is the availability of saver fares.
Availability of reward flights is also another problem with both Vistara and Air India.

Yes but with Vistara the redemptions were capped based on route. With AI, once the value fare is exhausted or you approach closer to the desired travel date, the mile requirement goes up for the prime fare. These cost way more than the standard economy awards. Eg: BLR-DEL= 8000 FR in value and BLR-DEL= 12000 FR in prime

You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

Right now Air India and Axis are both duds. They're the perfect match, both keep changing their mind and screwing up their customers.

There's greener grass elsewhere, you can book Air India at better rates in domestic through many of their partner alliances, specially whenever there's a connection since some airlines won't increase price if there's a connecting flight in many cases ie United. International flights are a no brainer as well, skip Air India.

I'm booking award tickets(PE voucher) for my friends for travel in August. And i have 47k CV points remaining. And have no plans for 47k CV points in 1 year. what should i do? If they transfer tickets to Air india, will there be problem for nominee tickets?

Someone would be there to buy it off you

Pls read and explain point 6👉🏻
I think the message is clear that you can either opt to migrate under the new regime or lose your existing CV points and benefits, including with co-branded cards — take it or leave it!

Most people should opt to migrate if they want the opportunity to even wait and watch how this unfolds.
