by default, everyone's account will be migrated to Air India unless you explicitly opt-out and that deadline was long ago. If you have opted out during that period you can't reserve opt-out decision now.i am opting in for now
then leave it. vistara will create an account for youEven on flying returns can't change the name.
I have opted out, still have linked the AI FFP🚬by default, everyone's account will be migrated to Air India unless you explicitly opt-out and that deadline was long ago. If you have opted out during that period you can't reserve opt-out decision now.
My guess was right, everyone has received the mail. Perhaps to create an Air India FR account anyway, but as per the FAQs they are very strict about the points, vouchers etc migration.I have opted out, still have linked the AI FFP🚬
Got email confirmation also🙂

yes wasted if you don't redeem before mergingI have a Vistara Silver membership from HDFC Regalia Gold, which I haven't redeemed yet. I wan't to redeem late as I don't have plans now, what do you think of this? If I don't redeem now and merger happens, the membership will be wasted?
Tier, vouchers and points all not gets transferred?yes wasted if you don't redeem before merging
Says who?Even on flying returns can't change the name.
It will.Tier, vouchers and points all not gets transferred?
ThanksIt will.
@pjrockzzz has some unredeemed coupon of vistara silver membership, so if that is not redeemed before merger how'll AI know that he is a silver member. So, I said, without redeeming it now and becoming silver member, he won't get to redeem it in AI
As long as I am getting vouchers I am good.I was wondering what is bigger issue in long term. Not sure if it is discussed somewhere else. What happens to all co branded Vistara credit cards? I do not have any but was thinking of getting one and now it seems better to stay off any of these. Apparently none of Air India co branded cards are anywhere close to Vistara cards in terms of rewards.
I asked them on Twitter, they were like we will receive an update on this soon. It was a month ago 💀What happens to all co branded Vistara credit cards?
If you can spend 4.5L within 2-3 months then go ahead. I don't think migration will happen anytime soon.I do not have any but was thinking of getting one
Air india signature gives 4% RPs on regular spends + 5% RPs on milestones - 9% FR points ~ 9×(0.6 - 0.8) = 4.8% - 7.2% which is decentApparently none of Air India co branded cards are anywhere close to Vistara cards in terms of rewards.
Can you please elaborate on this? Not to forget the 10% RPs on AI for others and 30% for self
