Dear TF Family,

1. Infinia Void. I have Infinia Metal credit card, but it does not offer RPs on fuel transactions. As I do have substantial fuel transactions, therefore, there was a felt need to plug this void. Accordingly, I homed on to BPCL SBI Octane credit card which is offering maximum rewards of 6.25% on all fuel transactions (7.25% if you factor in the fuel surcharge waiver) at BPCL outlets, and some additional benefits.

2. Comprehensive Guide on BPCL SBI Octane Credit Card. During my research on Octane credit card, I came across numerous blogs, articles, forums, et al discussing the features of Octane credit card. 1. yes, card se touch karke jo aap contactless payment karte ho, wo rupay and visa both me work karega.



2. yes, aap card se contactless transaction karne par aapko points v milega.



3. yes, this comes under contactless payment using nfc through your card but note that it's not same as that of contactless payment using nfc through your phone.



Basically, aapka card ka details tokenization k sath aapko milta h physically (in physical card), isiliye aap card ko physically use kar pa rahe ho for contactless transaction.



But if u want to use this feature through a smartphone, to aapko aapka card details ko tokenization karna padega inside the phone using any application who provide this feature like gpay, cred, even sbi card application etc etc. But to note that this tokenization to your smartphone is currently only supported by Visa and MasterCard.Rupay don't have this feature to tokenize it's issued card to a smartphone. And that's the reason why u can't use it through your smartphone.



Also u can try with your RuPay cards to check this.

How to get it as a 3rd sbi card. Online sprint website has declined my request 3 times & had to wait 90 days each time to apply again.

Most people got it as pre-approved offer for another SBI Card by splitting the limit.

Check every month for pre-approved Card offer inside SBI Card application.

ha bhai, pehle muje simplysave dete rhe sbi vale, after many months i received the offer for octane BPCL. But ideally they should give offer all the available cards as add on offer.

SBI currently allowing for only 2 cards, 1 is core and another is any co-branded one.

If u have only one core card or no card then u can get it with a separate limit.

but if u already have 2 cards then the only way to get this as a split limit basis.and I don't think this can be done by any agent.your best way is to wait for pre-approved offer inside SBI Card application or u can try by mailing pno of SBI Card.

Email customer care. Attach the transaction slip too.

I didnt get it last time on Paytm machine because in the transaction list in app, the name of the pump appears without “BPCL” in it.

This problem of correct pos machine is a headache since most bpcl petrol pumps are sayin the ONGO machine is decommissioned

Yes. But they will say it will take 1 month !!!
I got the reward points with the statement generation. But keep a close eye. They want us to forget. Thats why the period of 1 month

Thanks for the heads up! I have raised a complaint and also they sent me a interaction id and also assured that once it's resolved from next time the reward points for further transactions will be credited automatically and I hope they will.

Will the reward points earned on my addon card will be credited to the main card right?

I dont have add-on card. But read somewhere in TF itself that using addon card helps you get 6.25% returns if your monthly fuel expense is between 10k to 20k

Last week, swiped on Fiserv machine at BPCL pump. Got points.
The receipt coming out of the POS has BPCL emblem on top. So helps if I dont get rewards. I will be able to raise a complaint with proof

Actually all the petrol bunks where I can purchase fuel have different pos machines and they gives the receipt to me but there will be no BPCL emblem on them and when I raised the request for reward points not credited now they're asking me the receipt which has BPCL emblem and howz that even possible for all the bunks...
Also I have got the reward points from 4 different bunks out of 6 I have tried. So I had to raise a request for the 2 bunks from where I haven't got the reward points.

From all the bunks I have got a additional charge of 10₹ per transaction except 2 bunks. One bunk was company owned and company operated and the other bunk was a normal one but for that bunk I haven't got the surcharge waiver too along with reward points..

I have raised a new request for all the transactions which I haven't got till now and will see how it goes ... Will post later on once they resolved the issue.

This is a headache with this Octane card. I am trying to find 1 or 2 pumps in my daily travel and their specific POS machines which gives points. Then stuck to them
