Convertion of Paid to LTF of 1 year old Axis FK Card

So I got Axis FK card (paid) with salary account Last Year
I've tried requesting PNO to convert my FK to LTF and their response is as follows

"As you wish to convert the card to life time free card we are unable to covert the card to life time free card"


Is there a way to possibly convert my paid FK card to LTF ?

Note: I've also got Axis ACE (Paid).

You can try the following but may not work 100%.

Call customer care and tell them you want to close the card and see if they want to retain you by waiving the annual charges.

Does your company have tie up with Axis?

I Don't think my employer have tie up with axis and I have changed my salary account to HDFC recently.
I will check with HR to get clarity on tie-up with Axis.
