If url is exact and if https, then it can be trusted.

But if url is slightly different and then ssl cert is easy to get with letsencrypt. In world, 10 years back, it would have been slightly more difficult to get cert for fake websites.

It would be good if there was an easy way to show on browser if ssl is from letsencrypt or some paid service.

I agree. Once someone send me an article for a <reliable_news_site>.live regarding some crypto give away to check if he can participate. Fun part. That was only news article on that site.
