Cred stopped UPI Cashback

So I made several UPI payments today from Cred. Cashback generator wasn't there after the payment. So overall zero cashback.

Have they stopped it from today? As till yesterday, it was there.

Already stopped doing CC bill payments from cred. Was using just for UPI Cashbacks. Now no use of this app finally.

I have stopped CC bill payments since December when they didn't gave a single Cashback for 3 consecutive days (5 spins each). First time I saw in UPI payment now.

This is the bcoz of their quarterly financial results maybe (FY22) where they were losing ₹4 for revenue of ₹1.

Yup true. Was using it just for UPI. If there's no Cashback then I would use paytm instead.

The way cread app is working is also not upto the mark. The app have to have give them "permission" to read the SMS. It is also not good that all of the information regarding closing balances etc (through SMS) passes to the CERD app.

Thankfully in iOS there's no compulsion of giving access to messages. I haven't given them a single permission.

HDFC Billpay where we get sure shot 1% Cashback via Platinum Debit Card.

-I don't have an account in HDFC so i use PostPe to pay my bill via Upi they give a flat 0.4% Cashback for upto 5 CC bill payments. Max cap over those 5 transactions is 1000 per month. @Chaitanya-a does the HDFC Billpay still work? i had read a few posts couple of days back about people mentioning that it has stopped not sure if that is true.
-CheQ is supposed to launch on 14th Feb as of today in the Beta version they are giving 0.5% back as Amazon voucher there are some other options aswell that return about 1%. Using this too at the moment but i feel they might devalue it further as they've made devaluations in the Beta version itself.
-I also discovered in one of forum topics about RBL Signature Plus Debit Card which returns 1% as vouchers if we spend more than 10K a month on the card and there's no restriction on any kind of transaction. Planning to consider this in the near future.

Yes its working fine. There was a glitch. So Cashback was delayed for 4-5 days. But its working super fine and probably the most rewarding way for Credit card payment.

This was shock to me as well. They've created hype by giving 1% rewards but devalued it in beta phase itself. Hence I'll stay away from them coz my monthly payment comes under 75k which is covered by HDFC Billpay.

RBL Signature+ is another good option but the way this bank works is problematic. Their products are good but services aren't.

Every day i use Cred scan & pay to merchant UPI and got cashback between Rs4 to Rs12.

Minimum i paid - Rs100.

Note - do 1 hour gap between every scan & pay UPI transactions. Maximum 2 to 3 times daily got cashback (sometimes 4 times).

Made two payments of Rs. 160 and Rs. 70 today. Got Rs. 9 and 7 as cashback.

Tried today but haven't got a single Cashback. Maybe they're slowing down.

I didn't get cashback right away like we used to get. Wait few minutes and check again the app. There on the first screen you'll see the reward and you can claim it.

Then too only coins are being credited. Once in a while we get cash.

I'm getting cashback. Maybe they are removing it gradually.

And here I'm getting only coins. 42 lac Cred coins ka kya karu m 🤦🏻‍♂️

I go and click on the slash price and shit every time. That way the product Manager in CRED e-commerce will get bamboo’ed why they are not able to get conversion from high internet user.
