Credit Card bill payment by debit card or rewards - only provide working solutionh after 5 Septemeber 2024

I dont have any debit card which gives cashback on bill payment. Came to know about sbi virtual visa debit card which one can activate from sbi netbanking. I use this debit card on sbi unipay to pay my credit card bill. It gives 1% reward points+ extra 1% for using virtual debit card. In two months i accumulated 9600 reward point equal to ₹2400. Best way to redeem was to pay credit card bill. Paid hdfc cc bill using that reward point.
how much amount did you pay to earn 9600 reward points?

So SBI Unipay doesn't allow Credit Card bill payment through Debit cards from 11:45 PM to next day 12:15 AM. Interesting 🧐
This maybe as during payment if confirmation is delayed there is no dispute of dates

You can go with RBL for their Signature or Enterprise DC. You can choose other banks as well but you need to plan according to your avg. Monthly bills

Looks like Canara Setu has removed option to pay with Debit card? Or is it only for me?

Kindly choose airtel payments bank option during payment process on canara setu, you will get debit card payment option to pay your outstanding bills. You have to first select netbanking option, then select airtel payments bank in drop down menu, if you possess airtel money account/wallet. Also try with small amount first to check whether CB/Points are eligible or not.

Merchant Name ‘Airtel Payments Ban’. I have done a test transaction of Rs.100/- yesterday evening.
It applies same process just when anybody chooses to pay their outstanding bills via airtel thanks app.
Decided to wait for 4-5 working days to check whether CB/RPs credits or not.

Firstly you have to add second account holder in your primary hdfc savings account which converts it's status from single to joint. After that kindly submit debit card request for 2nd account holder which results in two debit cards in your primary hdfc savings account i.e. platinum esdc for 2nd holder & millennia DC for 1st holder. Both DCs having their individual reward system.

You will need the HDFC Platinum Debit Card.
Now, regarding savings accounts, you can open a basic one, but it will be charged when you apply for the Platinum DC.
So, I recommend you get the HDFC Savings Max account—it comes with the Platinum Debit Card and is free.

Is there any way to use an IndusInd DC to pay CC bills? I used to pay bills via my DC on CRED, but that doesn't seem to work for Amex anymore, and my DCB bill isn't high enough for CRED to allow anything except UPI.
