Credit card upgrade

TF Buzz
Hello, I am currently using sbi pulse card. I am getting 2 offers right now.
  1. Upgrade current card:- sbi Elite is showing and its paid card (4999+gst)
  2. apply for new one: BPCL and simply save, both are paid card(499+gst)
can anyone suggest me if I should opt for any of these options? tbh I want cashback more than these but I am not getting offer regarding that. My current card is not that great. I need sbi card which will be beneficial for me.

fyi: I am using millennia mostly, planning to get swiggy and one good rupay card9currently using coral).

BPCL and simply save are both available on rupay
So you can check if ticks both boxes for you.
Honestly, never heard of Elite card and how useful it is with 5k+GST fees.

BPCL lelo aishh kro
50k spend based for fees reversal which is easy with rupay spend

No guarantee that sbi will continue to give discount in co-branded credit cards.
Hdfc too used to give discount in co branded credit cards, recently stopped.
You can expect the same for other banks.
So better to go for simplisave/simpliclick
Also better chance to convert ltf if it is a core card

I'd suggest u go ahead and opt for Simplysave rupay if it's available in ur offered list
BPCL : not recommended as it's co-branded and redemption is not that easy
Elite: The fee doesn't justify the benefits it offer but still if u want lifestyle benefits go ahead and consider upgrading to this card

1. Cancel your sbi card
2. Apply simplisave/click
3.Apply hdfc swiggy
4.Apply yes bank kiwi
1. I will but on the month of jan.
2. I don't see any major benefit, I am using rupay coral right now so I am looking for better card for rupay variant
3. Its showing FYF, I am waiting for LTF offer
4. Its on my plan as of now

Simplysave rupay: its showing paid card and I don't see that much of benefit. I am currently using coral for rupay so I need batter card than this.
yes I don't want to get into co branded card. HDFC has given many ppl headache for same reason
Elite: Tbh I am not sure about this, I might get atlas instead of this

I am currently using coral, is it good compared to this?
BPCL is good
If you don't have ltf card from sbi

1- u can use it as fuel card
2- points are redeemable at petrol pump other than usual voucher
3- 50k fees reversal which is very easy to achive
4- works everywhere in sale for 10% off

Save and click has 1 lakh fees reversal
But they have milestone
So you have see what fits your needs

2.Its only for bank discount and later convert it to ltf
And apply kiwi, best rupay card currently

it gives 1.67% valueback on Dining, Movies, Departmental Stores and Grocery Spends
I've seen many merchants accepting UPI payments on RuPay cc comes under the above categories
The decision is upto u but I'd suggest going with this card.

yes, u r right
Elite: Tbh I am not sure about this, I might get atlas instead of this
ok, Atlas is far better than elite if r into travel

Does not apply for Tata Neu, all offers applies on neu, irctc
Also, even HDFC treats it's irctc card as core card, but not neu
