As far as I know, this fee was only applicable to mobile recharges until now. Just five days ago, I paid an electricity bill using the same card, and there was no such fee included. However, today, while paying another bill, I noticed this fee being applied. 0.75% + GST.

EDIT: I think its not 5% cashback for bill payment, rather 2% I guess

Where are you buying agv with apay card ? I've heard it doesn't give 5% on gift vouchers

People don't take it seriously as the fee amounts are small in comparison to order value. These companies are squeezing consumers for every rupee they can get. It's like they're stretching the rubber band until it breaks. Many platforms have copied this method.

Also many of these platforms have dark patterns in billing.

MCA shall stop this.
