why would your friend apply for one of the most basic cards with a fake slip? he is risking so much and getting so little in return? unless this was one of axis' pre-approved offers, which they don't verify at all regardless of what you put. A friend of mine got an offer for an axis airtel and he put his real income (28L), and he got a limit of 40k lol. I'm sure after 6 months axis will bump the limit up significantly.

Some people do that. But if it get caught they get blacklisted by bank. And same reported to cibil. So its huge risk to take.

Agr pkda gya to cc cancel and blacklisted ho jayega. And ye report sare credit agencies ke paas chla jyega

After 3 momths he can get pre-approved offer of other cards like Airtel Axis etc.

Nope. The degree certificate is genuine.
HDFC guy had asked for ITR of 21L. This guy had ITR of 20.XX. he forged the 0 to 1 and made it 21.XX.

Oh thats not a big thing. Editing a small things is ok while everything physically is genuine.
Lots of salaried guy edit figures in payslips and apply loans/ccs

I doubt if 21 means 21 for HDFC . Even 20.xx should work ideally .
