Q.1 if i pay advance income tax through the portal, do i have to pay the 0.8% transaction fee or hdfc compensates for the transaction fee on this card?
Q.2 i have monthly electricity bill of 1.25L (factory bill), can i pay that through the smartbuy portal and if yes then is there any utility charges charged on this card for the transaction or not?

1. 0.8% will be added to transaction amount after settlement
2. not tried such a big bill amount thru smartpay* so no idea

On the hdfc website it is mentioned that they charge 1% utility fees on transaction above 75000 for business cards. So that's why i am asking if there will be 1% utility fee on transaction of 1.25L electricity bill.

Utility payments is not via Smartbuy. It can be made via Smartpay or Payzapp.

"Business spends" which includes tax payment has 7,500 accelerated points cap per statement cycle

Smartbuy has a separate 10,000 accelerated points cap per statement cycle

Total rewards points (base + accelerated) has 1,50,000 cap per statement cycle

Not possible as per latest T&Cs. Extra 1% + GST will be charged above 75K
