Any one with HDFC Biz Black Metal Card?

Does anyone have experience with redemption of rewards? Is it similar to Infinia on Smartbuy? In addition, are reward points on income tax payments credited quickly?
Yes it is similar to Infinia. But Infinia allows 70% redemption via points and Biz Black allows 50%. Thats the key difference

Accelerated reward points on Income Tax payment come in the next cycle, unlike smartbuy which come in the same cycle.

So you use the same Smartbuy portal to redeem?

I don't have an answer to the first two questions. As for the last one - The regular reward points come in the same statement cycle; te accelerated / bonus reward points come a day or two after the statement is generated.

Team,

I'm salaried, but also have a rental income on which I pay gst (around 52K) and file returns and also pay advance tax(75k to 100k) every quarter for total income. Only 25% of my annual income is salaried while rest is rental income. I

I have HDFC Infinia, Tata Neu Rupay and Swiggy card (took in July 24). All share a combined limit of 15L.

Am interested in Biz Black card and tried to apply online initially and it showed a message that I recently applied for a card. Assuming it's Swiggy card, how long should I wait before trying again. Later approached my branch manager.

He contacted someone from cards dept and I was informed that I can get Biz black with shared/combined limit with Infinia. But when I informed that I already have 3 cards, he said that I can't get another card as there is a restriction of 3 cards. I informed him that I'm ready to close/cancel Swiggy card if required.

Later the credit card person informed that if my wife has account in hdfc, he will try to get biz black on her name. Am not quite sure, if it's primary card on her name and addon card on my name OR just a biz black addon card for my Infinia primary card. He mentioned as addon card. He said he will first get approval and then can apply. Waiting for that now.

Which would be a better option. Am I eligible for Biz Black Card. If yes, apply on my name or on my wife's name. Your thoughts are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Team,

I've applied for HDFC Biz Black credit card and got the card delivered today. I've applied this as a floater to my existing Infinia metal card. But just realised that I can't pay GST payments using this card yet as Andhra Pradesh is not in the list of states where GST can be paid using credit card. Need to wait until AP is enabled for GST payments. Meanwhile I need to see how best I can utilise this card to spend 1.5 lakhs in 90 days including advance tax payment. Thanks.

A query to guys holding business black card. I hold an Infinia and spoke with my hdfc branch rm for Business black card as a floater card.
He said it can be issued to me if the address of my firm ( self-employed) is different than personal address. Not sure if its a requirement or just a ruse to not process the card. What was the case with you guys.

Hi
can i get an add on card on biz black for people who r not my family member
Yes you can. Although, HDFC states Add-on card if for family members but there is no check on this. While applying for an Add-on card through net banking you can just add your HDFC customer id (so that you receive different credit card number and OTP on your mobile) and in relationship select yourself as Brother/ sibling.

I have recently obtained an Add-on card using this method.
So, basically, you are advocating that the person should commit fraud.

This is technically not a fraud as the add-on card is just an extension of benefits by the primary cardholder. Bank has a contract with the Primary cardholder and not the add-on card holder. All the liabilities are being taken care of by the primary cardholder and Bank has nothing to do with Add-on cardholder.

Really? Lying and falsely declaring someone to be your sibling is not fraud?

Need help on the below query. As per HDFC website below is the eligibility criteria

HDFC Bank Biz Black Credit Card Eligibility :
A Self Employed Indian Citizen aged between 21 yrs. to 65 Yrs.
Annual ITR above Rs 30 Lakhs
(Customers can apply credit card using ITR, GST returns, Bank Statements and Merchant payment report)

Query- In case a self employed person files ITR 4 with Section 44ADA – Presumptive Tax Scheme for Professionals wherein you get the benefit of paying taxes on 50% of the gross income without getting your financials audited. If someone has a gross income of 50 lakhs and considering the benefit of 44ADA the ITR acknowledgement will only show income as 25 Lakhs for tax liability purpose. Will HDFC consider this for BIZ Black since as per requirement mentioned on their website (Annual ITR above Rs 30 Lakhs is required). OR if i send entire computation wherein gross is ahowing 50 Lakhs will do the job.

You will be asked

You will be asked computation and for that they see your 30l, are you getting proper fund in constant way, they don't see 1 time like property, capital gains etc. They ask for 2 years computation and 2years have to be same or more and the funds to be constant. If this fulfilled then you are good to go. Or else you will be rejected. Do note submitting gst certificate of any such business can get the card approval faster.

I was applying this card for my dad but he has an ITR Of 27.57 Lakh audited, so does that means straightforward not applicable for this card?

If you have an existing HDFC credit card with limit > 5lacs, it should not be a problem. You can visit any HDFC branch near to your place/ contact your RM (if any) and apply for the card physically.
