Hi there folks,
The first time i saw an Infinia was in 2019. A year later, i saw with my name on it.

But i haven't met anyone else using that card after that.

Would anyone here be interested in meeting a fellow Infinia user ? What's your experience in coming across Infinia users.

Considering the immature childish response from most on this thread 🙂 , i can pretty much guess most of you are overgrown kids in your late teens/early 20s, and really do not know what the game actually is or was. I would not be surprised if some of you are in highschool. Some of you actually seemed like you need help. And definitely none of you are in consulting .

I'm also pretty confident most of you commenting haven't seen an Infinia ever, or would have seen/used add-ons to your parents/siblings.

Infinia has a meagre ~50k customers in India in total which may have increased in the last year, and hence still is a rare card. Getting an Infinia actually talks about a lot of things financially going right for you. My intention was to meet sensible mature peers who have built their lives. Apparently the most sensible response is from chatgpt apparently.

What's the most amusing is that people with Magnus are commenting on this thread since they have free time now. Enjoy your rewards and fee waiver milestone from 1st September or keep your usual 10 lacs in savings to be burgundy (how smart)! For your awareness, Magnus has just started to head back to what it used to be before Feb 2022.
Chatgpt?

This person here thinks that people who have built their life financial and have made money would be idle to chat on the internet and tell this stranger how he or she made money in his or her career.
This is not a podcast

The first time I heard about Infinia was from my then girlfriend's (now wife 🙂) elder brother in early 2018. He kept raving about how amazing the rewards were. As I was still a student back then, I was not really able to make much sense of any of it.
Fast forward to 2022, I got hold of my own Infinia. My Internet banking showed I was eligible for a DCB. I applied for that but my application was rejected and they asked me to mail some documents to the Chennai office. In a couple of days, my RM called and told me he can get me an Infinia (didn't really ask for anything in return). I applied through him and got the card in a month's time.
Unfortunately, right around the time I got my card, they started devaluing it (adding caps on accelerated rewards, removing Amazon, etc). But, I had been using it happily for months, until Magnus happened. I jumped onto the Magnus bandwagon in Sep 2022 (regret not getting a Reserve as I have spends of around 1l every month in Forex). Thanks to the inevitable Magnus devaluation, I am back to using my Infinia.
A short answer to your question: Yes, I have met an Infinia user IRL

I'm just wondering what this guy will do if he receives an Amex Centurion card.

Sounds like @megabull got offended here. If you can't handle silly banter on the internet, then don't show-up. Your post was a literal invitation for some healthy trolling and TBH was quite silly considering a mere card brought aww to you. From your post, it looks like you actually had to wait years to meet the Infinia criteria. If you hang out at the right places, you'll find many folks with premium cards "in real". Spend at the right places man.

That said, if you think "getting an Infinia actually talks about a lot of things financially going right for you" then you may seriously want to reconsider your financial goals. Credit cards are just a compliment to your financial life and not a benchmark. I am wondering what you will say to someone with Amex Platinum or Centurian.

Looks like you have recently started to make north of 2.75L+ a month, which may make you think you've made it but trust me. There are plenty of fishes in our Indian ocean with deeper pockets. Start thinking differently.

Since your post specifically highlighted "none of you are in consulting" - I don't think anyone of the respondents to your silly post claimed to be in consulting ever.

However, lucky for you, I am in one and your writing makes me think, you maybe from some big4, who still needs to learn how to take one and move on. Happy to talk anytime. Feel free to DM.

With love,
1RC

Copying IT jargon is nowhere close to 'consulting'. Just try googling a little more; maybe you can find some actual consulting jargon somewhere.

All you Magnus kids are amusing. So is your desperate attempt at showing off your English and eventually falling flat on your face.
Maybe enrolling in an English coaching class will prevent you from getting exposed. Consider that before joining any online forum.

Yahoo chat was all the fad in 1998 when I was in class 10. There used to be India and Pakistan rooms in Yahoo where PPL from both countries had fond discussion about each other's family members.

Since it was relatively early days of internet We wrote scripts which would Target each other systems and hang it & in worst case overclock those p1 processors and burn it 😀. Some of the those early people from those chat groups are big names in the IT industry nowadays. I did attend few reunions but missed most since I was out of country for last 12 years wherein I have banked with some of the best banks in the world including Swiss banks.

So the point that I am trying to get at is that HDFC and Axis are both sh|t banks when compared globally. However, currently magnus provides me the best value in the world and in your case, infinia provides you "pretty women" type condescending assumptions.
