Exclusive RuPay Lounge Opened at Delhi Airport Terminal 3

TL;DR RuPay Lounge started in Delhi T3 on 12th September 2024. Available exclusively for RuPay CREDIT CARD holders. Next RuPay Exclusive Lounge to open in Mumbai. Idea of RuPay exclusive lounge is to create standalone lounges like American Express in Mumbai and Delhi.

Really, even if i haven't met the spend criteria on my ICICI Coral Rupay ?
What about Rupay cards with no lounge at all,
Or one's with lounge limit finished

I'm very curious to know

If your eterna card is already approved , card will reach you within 3-4 working days. If it is under process ..... only God knows kab approve karege.

My beef with this lounge is why the discrimination against Rupay debit cards,
Are debit cards not worthy of this lounge,
Do debit cards holder not bleed the same red blood as credit card holders,

They have huge posters outside stating that they only accept RuPay credit cards. As mentioned before, RuPay is trying the Amex way of Standalone lounges.

Recently I used BoB snapdeal to access the lounge.
All Rupay cards works as of now.

I visited on the 17th and they rejected 2 RuPay CC before me. Still a lot of speculations and nothing concrete about the cards. RuPay has mentioned this on their site.

All I'm saying is that i don't see any logic in this and i cannot candone this step-motherly behavior towards debit cards by NPCI

Update: Fintech RuPay Credit Cards like Jupiter Edge, Kiwi, and ANQ Pi (not sure of Phi Variant) are not being accepted.
Could someone please confirm the other cards too?

If anyone wants to check if their credit card is eligible for Rupay Lounge, just scan this QR card through any UPI app with your linked Rupay CC. If the Rs. 2 payment succeeds, it means your card is eligible. However, it's possible that if your payment succeeds here, then the AFC gate there at the lounge will open up (I think?). So whoever will be in front of the gate at the time will either be very scared or will be very grateful that the gate opened up to him/her randomly.

Yes the gate will open.
The chance of someone trying to enter at that very moment lounge will be less (unless at peak hours). The person standing at the entrance beside will be surprised and think that the gate is malfunctioning.

Is it possible to scan and pay twice using the same card for lounge access? After making the payment, does the lounge access quota for that quarter get reduced?

I noticed that payment via regular UPI is also allowed.

Lastly, is it necessary to use a RuPay credit card that offers lounge access, or can we use any RuPay credit card, even if it doesn’t provide lounge access benefits?

This is definitely the best lounge in Delhi T3 domestic, considering the overcrowded nature of Encalm lounge. The food options are at par with the Encalm lounge. I was able to access with Tata Neu infinity Rupay cc and Canara Rupay select cc. You can have a clear view of the runway along with flights landing and taking off. Felt like a king there!
Pro tip: Dont be deeply engrossed with the PS5 games else you will miss your flight.
