My Experian score has nose dived 250 to <600 points after the new update.

100% payment history
Portfolio only consists of CC.

Any idea why?
Do check if anything wrongly added like a missed payment or anything.
If not wait for 3-4 months it shall bounce back to 750-800 zone

I hope you are right.

Does calling Experian help ?
No calling will not help if you are not looking for any loan sit back and relax wait for 60-90 days, it shall bounce above 700.

What is your credit history if it's less than 2 years the score will remain volatile and it becomes less volatile with time

Credit History: 10 yrs +
Credit portfolio: 9 credit cards.
Cibil reading is dancing around 790.
Oldest active account is 10+ year old now with hdfc with limit >13 L

Account closure: Because of Paytm RBI issue, my Paytm postpay account was only closed recently which was 2 yr old.

I think 2 things can be an issue

First
On my hdfc card I have an limit > 13 L and I had an expense for 11 L in month of April for emergency.
However, Experian only displays the overall credit utilisation in my report which is on base of ~50 L is about 23% across all my cards.

Second
There is some discrepancy with my address not matching my Aadhaar address because the Aadhar address starts with
C/O
<Address>

While all 8/9 bank records do not have 'C/O'. The 9th one was taken last year using online eKYC

Chill Gupta Ji, it will improve with next IDFC reporting, Experian take credit utilization with high score.

Rest all is great 4-6 months you shall reach 750-800 zone. Enjoy and do not worry over trivial issues like this

Address discrepancy is nothing to worry.

Checked Experian score directly using some their whatsapp method.. got 824 score and immediately refreshed from CRED as it was stuck at 773 from long time and not changing.. Report from CRED is exactly same as that of experian except the score.

Score shown in cred is CRIF, not experian

If you don't get both options ask them to enable it they will do it.
Thanks.. I dont need it anyway..
I have official subscriptions for all..
But good to know that there is an option...
