yeah, the rates will update around 3 am IST. The lowest was at 13.96. Right now it is 14.09. A sudden Jump in an hour. It may end back at 14.2. Let's see once the US opens in the next 3 hours.

But the bank doesnt charge the card on the same day, mostly it is after a day or two of the purchases.
Moreover, on the day of settlement of that purchase, the currency will be first converted to usd and then it will be converted to INR and then conversion fee as well as GST will be levied

It decreasing now again. I think the banks charge the rate on the day of the transaction.
Transaction amount remains same in foreign currency, but as per axis Bank MITC "the conversion will take place on the date the transaction is settled with axis Bank"

Forex markup and DCC are exclusive charges.
Only 1 applies at a time. In this case only Forex markup will apply as payment will be in BRL.
DCC applies when you pay in INR but merchant is not Indian.
