Extremely slow approval and delivery process for SBI VISTARA PRIME

Hello,

I had applied for SBI Vistara Prime Card on 16th August 2023 from an agent at the mall.
It took them 15 days to approve the card.
After receiving multiple calls for verification, adjusting limit as I already have SBI Cashback card.
Now after approval and card been issued, as they have provided me ecard access via. App and all.
Physical is still not delivered, it's been 1 week post receiving all approval letter, card no. Cvv on app, but no update on physical card delivery.

Is sbi service so pathetic, I have received other credit card in 2 days or max 4 to 5 days post applying.

Worst experience, rethinking on whole sbi card experience.

As such run by delhi people, can feel complete arrogance in their service approach.

On a side note, how's your CL on your existing CB card and what are you getting on the new VP card? I've heard they typically give a bad CL on the second card, esp when applied online.

well i applied via sbi sprint, approval was instant but physical card took around 10 days..

because as compare to other cards where we only got a single paper and card, in vistaracard we get whole box with all stuff like a booklet and card.. so it takes little bit longer..
see i after that i applied for add-on too but it came in just 2 days as there was just a paper and card..

so don't worry just wait.. complaining to support and all that not helps.. u can already see the tracking referance number via sbicard website, keep tracking with that as till your card is not dispatched it will say invalid.. so keep checking everyday..

I had CL of 2.74
They called and asked how would I like to distribute between cashback and Vistara Prime.
So now it is 1.5 for cashback and 1.24 for Vistara Prime.
Vistara Prime is for offline purchases and utility payment, for all online purchases it is Cashback.

Hello,

I understand the box, booklet and all.
But still there must be some limit of delay.
SBI is 2nd largest CC player in India,
It took them 15 days to approve, now 1 week already passed post approval for physical delivery,
It feels like a psu with no Process in place.

Instant regret to take one more sbi card.
Just because milestone benefit where better then axis vistara card.

Similar experience. Applied for SBI Vistara Prime almost a week ago through an agent. Physical KYC done, digital signature done. I was able to track the applicable until then.

After that, application tracking system started throwing an error that I’ve entered a wrong application number.

No communication about my application till date. Checked with the agent if it has been approved, he said it has been approved and has been dispatched for further processing. I asked about the CL, he said it’ll be 91k. That’s a terrible CL considering that my lowest CL on any card is 3 lacs. Idk how I am supposed to achieve the milestones without ruining my CIBIL with such a limit. Why is SBI so stingy? Very disappointed.

Any idea if I can get my CL enhanced before I even receive the card?

Beetwen 3 to 6 month on the basis of usage SBI will give LE

No technique available to enhance limit before receiving card.

Don't worry if u get the physical card u r lucky else they will have no idea if card is sent or not and each rep will give you different answer and I had to close my airindia card with them. It is traumatic experience with SBI worst customer service . Arrogance personified in sbi

Today is 12th Sep.
Card is approved and generated on 28th Aug.
But till today physical card is not yet delivered.

Really fed-up up sbi call center, waiting till 15th sep, then will call them and close the card for good.

Update:

They processed card regeneration on Sep 7th still did not received

Then on 13th Sep, they processed 4th line embossed name change, still did not received.

Now will finally thinking of closing the credit card only 20th September.

Will update you on the same.

I am disappointed that even after raising multiple complain to customer service head, nodal and principal nodal officer, still not even a call back and no update shared.

If you feel SBI is worse just apply for Kotak card. It deserve the top position in worse category. Only 1 or 2 banks are giving seamless experience.

Even I had faced the problem and I closed the airindia platinum card. Till date they don't know or have vlur was the card dispatched or not. Sbi cust care is the universe worst service. They had goofed up even my sbi vistara card after much energy loss I received this card. This was the card I had applied first with sbi and you know what they sent normal prime card and I used it for a year and closed that too I now only have vistara with 64k limit although I had 188k limit they split it to 142k andn64k between two cards and one of the card never recived minu they will charge i the annual fee since u have a digital card showing up. Traumatic experience and they want to be the largest card services provider with first class service simple dispatch they can't handle. Sbi employees are pathetic in work. Including their MD and Chairman who don't even see what is happening down line

Axis vistara is some want better they deliver the card andnuntil u recive the physical card u can't use it nor activate it. One good thing. Idfc vistara is also better than sbii
