Facing problem while redeeming HDFC debit card cashback points.

Do anyone face problem while redeeming HDFC cashback points? I've trying to redeem Cashback points but it gives me error.

I did like you only on 2nd and I do see the reward points in my Debit card enquire section.

Can you check your netbanking transactions and ensure it shows the CCard payment as POS(that means you paid through Debit Card). If POS is there, then no worries, you will get 1% for Visa Platinum DCard. For otherDC cards depends upon their features.

Hope you have done payment through Visa Platinum Debit card and your netbanking shows the transaction as POS for this Credit card payment

if so, check this place for the RP which can be redeemed to cash

hello sry for asking why pay using hdfc bill pay when we use pay using mobikwik which gives 50rs or whatever and get extra 1% too for using platinum debit card

someone else can confirm but I learn that mobikwik per transaction limit is there. You can pay only 20k per transaction. There is no limit in hdfc billpay. Both gives 1% cashback.

You should be having Classic HDFC bank account which gives Classic Visa Platinum card. This card also gives 1% cashback.

Same thing, I upgraded from times to platinum, when I go to net banking it says "VISA Classic Platinum Debit Card", apparently there's versions of platinum debit and millennia debit, classic and non classic. Am I still eligible for 1% through PayZapp?


Also in hdfc bill pay via netbanking, there's no option to select hdfc credit card, so is PayZapp the only way hdfc bills with HDFC DC? (other than mobiwick)

Yes that POS and the DC number shown, should take care of it 🙂

Mine always said (XXX is partial DCard number)
POS XXXXXXX HDFCBILLPAY
POS XXXXXXX PAYZAP BILLDESK (for the HDFC DC to HDFC CC Tata Neu payment through Payzap)

I am not sure which one exactly but I do see it is there as 1% on utilities upto a max of 750 as a feature for a similar classic card.

Right, HDFC NEVER allowed their CC card payment to be paid using their Netbanking BillDesk feature.

In the new PayZap option I found, it allowed and paid in March beginning for my Tata Neu CC and got the cash back(one of my post you have seen from another thread and snap you have taken 😎 )

I've also not received cashback for 3rd. Transaction done on payzapp. Earlier used to come next day itself

But you did receive CB for HDFC CC payment on Payzapp, which comes under non-BBPS afaik??

I never looked at it in the OTP page that close, so not sure on this. Only the Account page showed me, those data I sahred POS with DC number etc

But one of my payment failed in non-BBPS or so, where I tried a different trick of CC to CC payment 😕

So HDFC has built it good here it seems, no loop hole, to pay from CC to CC using Payazap.
