Facing problem while redeeming HDFC debit card cashback points.

Do anyone face problem while redeeming HDFC cashback points? I've trying to redeem Cashback points but it gives me error.

Did it get fixed?. I am facing this issue from last 2 days.

I faced it for many weeks between November and December, both on app and website.

Customer care asked me to reinstall app etc.
Nothing worked.

It eventually worked one fine day, first on the website, then on the app.

It’s just random.

If you guys are having issues in claiming hdfc dc rewards then it means the rewards guy is on a trip and he will be back after a week or so😛.

He is the lukiest guy in the world, gets his vacation every month lol.

PAYZAPP BILLDESK NON BBPS belongs to Insurance and MCC is 6300.

So any non utility txn using Millenia DC wouldn't fetch neither 2.5% online or 1%?

I can see in millenia tnc that no cashback on Insurance payments?

How to know MCC of a transaction, the MCC 6300 you mentioned is excluded..

I saw someone mentioning Payzapp rent merchant is some PZRENT, so apart from BBPS and NON BBPS, it seems to have other MCCs

Now Payzapp is tagging correct MCCs as per Actual txn Category, so you will see different merchant names as per Txn Category

Apparently things are getting better!

First my CC payments this week (both BBPS and non-BBPS) got credited almost immediately!

When I checked after a couple of days, points had already been credited.

Then my redemption requests immediately went through, and the cashbacks were credited the same day!

Impressed, and happy! 🙂
