Federal Bank Wave Rupay Virtual Credit Card Launched

Federal Bank launched Wave Rupay Virtual Credit Card for UPI transactions. It will act as a floater card linked to Primary card by sharing tue limit of Primary Card.

UPI
No physical card will be sent.

NB:- In testing phase, public roll out not began yet. Those who have core cards may soon get preapproved link to apply.


On a side note, this may shows the change in bank's policy of one card per customer. Hope those who have Federal core card can take co-branded cards in future and vice versa.

It got resolved for me after 1 working day. Today being Sunday, you try after tomorrow. And Federal Wave is my primary UPI Rupay card. It is just awesome. Thank you Federal Bank.

Did you get Federal Wave just after getting celesta ? Or what was the time gap between celesta card delivery and federal wave offer pop up in app ??

I got the federal wave the very next day after getting Celesta Card approval (physical delivery is still pending).

Friday: Federal Celesta was approved and could see it on the Fed Mobile app

Saturday: Applied for Wave Card and got it instantly.

It's been 5 days since my Imperio was approved. I couldn't see wave pop up anywhere 😕

So, I tried paying Federal Celesta in advance before the bill gets generated, and this is what I get, both in SBI Unipay as well as HDFC Billpay. Is it because it's only been 3 days since my card was approved and no statement has been generated?

I usually pay all of my bills on the first day of the month itself so that I won't forget them later.

Yes. You can only pay billable amount for bbps. And after first bill.

I thought they might give stupid reward points instead of actual cashback, but 10% actual CB is a good deal.

I have federal celesta and wave. Looks like there are a lot of offers in federal Bank. Raining offers I see these days. Will explore and use these as primary cards. Let me see how it works out.

Same here. While applying i just took celesta for my collection but later found it to be a very usefull card so many instant discount offers that too with low minimum spending amount to get that insatnt discount compared to other banks and BOGO offer and now upi.
