Federal Bank Wave Rupay Virtual Credit Card Launched

Federal Bank launched Wave Rupay Virtual Credit Card for UPI transactions. It will act as a floater card linked to Primary card by sharing tue limit of Primary Card.

UPI
No physical card will be sent.

NB:- In testing phase, public roll out not began yet. Those who have core cards may soon get preapproved link to apply.


On a side note, this may shows the change in bank's policy of one card per customer. Hope those who have Federal core card can take co-branded cards in future and vice versa.

I have a imperio. Age is almost a year now. Asper cibil 11 month history updated. Limit after increase is 2L. I don't use this card very often, one my friend uses it for swiggy offers. In some months its 2k-3k. Highest i used with card is 17k for a phone purchase offline, that was last year.

What docs you shared for application? And how long it took for approval?

I am a salaried person. No docs shared, I thought they will ask for salary slip and bank statement but they didn't. I just applied through bank website and proceeded with the application that's it. After video KYC, it got approved the same day. Though I had to do 2-3 times vkyc bcoz it was not getting updated in their system. And next 7 days I got the card. Overall it took 20-25 days. Because I was in consta touch with customer care for kyc to get updated.

I applied for it just 15 min back. The banner might be getting pushed in phased manner cuz I wasn't able to see it until today. Also no autopay was setup and I was able to get the card.

Thanks bro. I can't see the banner, have to wait for the banner to pop up. Also I got Celesta Visa in February, maybe because this card is new that's why I haven't got it yet.

Nothing like that I got my Signet in April ending and got Rupay banner as well

I got my celesta on 31st march still got the rupay card offer. So i guess they are offering everyone.

Account is never closed. They just say it’s closed but it’s always there.
If you don’t have an account at Federal they will never give you a CC.
If any one thinks otherwise then don’t respond here and instead try logging into fed mobile app. You will find your account number in there. You can even use any upi app and select Federal Bank, one lone forgotten account will pop up.
