Federal Bank launched Wave Rupay Virtual Credit Card for UPI transactions. It will act as a floater card linked to Primary card by sharing tue limit of Primary Card.

Virtual Floater Card
Shared Limit
UPI
No physical card will be sent.

NB:- In testing phase, public roll out not began yet. Those who have core cards may soon get preapproved link to apply.


On a side note, this may shows the change in bank's policy of one card per customer. Hope those who have Federal core card can take co-branded cards in future and vice versa.

Account is never closed. They just say it’s closed but it’s always there.
If you don’t have an account at Federal they will never give you a CC.
If any one thinks otherwise then don’t respond here and instead try logging into fed mobile app. You will find your account number in there. You can even use any upi app and select Federal Bank, one lone forgotten account will pop up.

I have signet card and got LE first and then rupay card next in about five minutes.
I guess they are rolling out slowly to everyone atleast who had cc with them.
Co branded might also receive this but not sure

I received today the banner for wave rupay cc. Card has been successfully generated but unable to set/generate pin, tried 4-5 times, I get error: unable to set pin, try again. 🤐

If you have set UPI PIN for Fi, Jupiter, or any other Federal Bank account, then use the same UPI PIN to do transactions through this Federal RuPay credit card.

Federal Bank sets the same UPI PIN for all your Federal Bank accounts.

I think co-branded card holders have to wait for Rupay credit card like Yes Bank co-branded credit card holders.

UPI PIN or card PIN?

Both are same. I also reser pin of my celesta and then tried to set the same pin for wave but still getting error. (Both app pin and card pin are same)

Edit: I tried today and I was able to set pin. And the card was also reflecting in GPay when I tried to add the card.
