Federal Credit Card Amount Debited but Order Not Placed on Flipkart

I was ordering a product worth 63.5K on Flipkart with Federal Bank Credit Card EMI, and the moment I entered the OTP and hit the confirm button, it got stuck there and it threw me back to the payment method page again after a minute but the amount got debited from my card instantly. Flipkart is showing the order as Not Placed and contact the bank if amount debited.

The amount got debited on 20th Dec at 11 AM and still it's not reversed. What should I do?

I know buddy! There's a latest post where a person didn't get 56K INR around refund from Flipkart from last 3 months. This MF Flipkart should be penalized by any central entity

Sure. But it's not only flipkart. I saw various posts atleast from every Ecom. If possible post this in twitter and tag flipkart and federal both.

I got my refund after 15 days. Federal had replied regarding the same via mail too.

Thankfully no. I was given a shadow credit as well.

Didn't get any shadow credit. Had to make the payment as the bill got generated 🙁

Bro i am in a bit of situation right here,please advice me
I made 2 transaction of the same amount on that day and both failed.
However yesterday I got refund inititated mail from flipkart and at night got the amount reversed in my credit card for 1 transaction.
I am not sure what is the status of the 2nd transaction now,so whom should i contact,flipkart or federal
Did flipkart initiate refund for that transaction on its own,Or the chargeback request was fullfilled from the bank.
And so why my 2nd transaction was not refunded. Should i wait or call any of them

give it a few more days, most likely within 2-3 working days after this weekend it should be reversed.

you may request for credit balance refund, takes about a week.

Don't know why they didn't provide shadow credit to me. 🤔

sent an email to credit card escalations stating the entire bill is of failed txns and don't expect me to pay a bill of over a lakh when my order isn't placed.

I think it's auto reversed though I'm not sure about that

15 days for auto reversal is a bit longer than the usual but then again this entire fiasco is outside of the normal.

Now its been more than 30 days
Should i complain to Rbi ombudsman??
Or wait for 70 days
But i have got a message regarding interim credit of the same amount On the credit card

Please advice me

I called them today and they said the request I raised has been closed. I haven't received any mail regarding this and the customer care has no clue on the exact resolution or reason for the closure. Can anyone help/guide me on how to proceed next?

Atleast from my experience after 30 days, don't expect any positive resolution from them. If they were going to refund it would have already been done.

you have up to 1 year from the txn date to reach out to rbio. If I were in your spot I'd approach grievance officer before going rbio way. In my case I mailed GO and received a shadow credit for the failed txns and a few days after that all the failed txns were reversed.

I was about to file complaint with rbio but received the refund before doing so.
