Hey TFCians,

This festive season, HDFC Bank is offering two of its valuable co-branded credit cards, the HDFC Bank Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card and the HDFC Bank Tata Neu Plus Credit Card, with no annual fees—meaning they’re lifetime free for a limited time.

The Tata Neu credit cards are among the best co-branded options available, offering impressive value back, even on UPI transactions. This is a fantastic deal you won’t want to miss!

Be sure to grab this opportunity.

I am already having Regalia Credit card. I tried to apply for the Tata NeU Infinity from the HDFC portal, however got the error (Just like many people mentioned in this thread), that there is an application in progres.

Thanks to @Himanshuch for the helping with me a different link. This link seems to be agent link and this link has worked for me. I have received LTF HDFC Tata Neu Infinity card

One point to be noted : When we use this agent link, at the last step it has asked me to do the authentication (could be due to to , I am already having relationship with HDFC) . There were 3 options to choose for authentication. HDFC net banking, hdfc debit card or HDFC credit card. I tried with HDFC net banking option, but after entering credentials, page is in loading phase and it got struck at same status. I tried with debit card option and it worked.

Subject: Possible Fraudulent Call Claiming to Be HDFC Back Office – Need Advice

Hello Everyone,

I recently received a call from +917525891029, claiming to be from the HDFC Bank back office. Here's the detailed sequence of events:

1. At 7 PM, I got a call from this number. The caller introduced himself as an HDFC Bank back-office representative and asked to verify my date of birth.

2. He claimed that I was eligible for an HDFC credit card and needed to share an OTP sent by HDFC Bank to process the application.

3. I received the OTP, and after verifying the caller’s intent, I shared it with him. He assured me that I would receive the card within three days and an email confirmation within 24 hours.

Later, I became suspicious and called back on the same number for clarification. During this second call:

The person explained that it was his personal number and that he was speaking to me from his personal capacity as today was a Sunday.

He mentioned that I could call him back on Monday, when he would be at the office, to check the status of the credit card.

Important Context:

I don’t have any existing savings account or credit card with HDFC Bank.

I had not applied for any credit card recently.

My Concerns:

1. The use of a personal number for official communication seems unprofessional and raises doubts.

2. Sharing an OTP over the phone is against all bank guidelines.

3. There’s a possibility this could be an attempt to commit fraud.

Steps Taken So Far:

I’ve raised this issue with HDFC Bank for investigation and am waiting for their official response.

I’ve not observed any unauthorized transactions or changes yet but remain vigilant.

Request for Advice:

Has anyone else encountered such calls from personal numbers claiming to be HDFC Bank representatives?

Should I escalate this immediately to the cybercrime portal, or wait for HDFC Bank’s response?

Are there any additional precautions I should take to safeguard my financial details and credit history?

Looking forward to your insights and suggestions.

Thank you!

Link is not working for me, can you tell me exactly what happens? Or anyone who used it?
What is the issue you are facing, there is a place where it shows the agent detail.. in that page there is requirement of providing office address at the top of page, you need to scroll to top and then fill that.. then you will get next button enabled.. and then use debit card to authenticate
