I signed up for Fi Money yesterday, my first time using a neobank/digital bank. I did everything as they asked me to. I used the mobile number linked to my Aadhar, I provided PAN, Aadhar and all details. My account was created, then they asked me to do video KYC, where I showed them my original PAN card and truthfully answered whatever questions I was asked. Today I got a notification saying the Bank Auditor rejected my KYC and my account will be closed in a year. I don't understand why. I tried asking customer service over chat, but they say they can't share details.
I'm really pissed because I don't know what happened. I think they should have atleast asked for additional documentation if they were confused by something.
If someone can suggest who I can complain to about this, that would be very appreciated. I'm thinking Federal Bank Ombusman or RBI Ombudsman? Though tbh I'm not sure how much Federal Bank Ombudsman can help because its his bank's auditor that rejected the KYC.
